Under the theme of strengthening professional psychological services in Indonesia, our teams presented empirical studies on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), examining cultural manifestations, insight correlations, and specialized treatment for Harm OCD in adolescents and young adults.
These presentations demonstrate IndoPsyCare's ongoing dedication to generating local clinical evidence and advancing evidence-based psychotherapy standards across Indonesia.
On July 13th 2022, our clinician-scientists Tasya Adelheid, M.Psi., Psikolog, and Cindy Emanuela, M.Psi., Psikolog, had the honor of speaking at “Lunch ‘n Learn”, an event hosted by TEC, at our office in One Pacific Place. Our psychologist Cindy Emanuela explained how anxiety undermines day-to-day functioning in the workplace. Via the presentation of a case study, the audience learned to identify the signs and symptoms of an anxiety-provoking condition that remains underrecognized: obsessive-compulsive disorder. Highlighting its various manifestations, Tasya explained how this condition frequently undermines workplace performance.
