She has gained experience at various places of work, including Belmont Private Practice, Walters Green Clinical Psychology, Restore Psychology, Bepsyc, Fremantle Clinical Psychology and Counseling and, most recently, Amherst Psychology.

Dr. Ascone graduated from the University of Hamburg with a Master of Science degree in cognitive-developmental neurosciences and clinical psychology. Following this, Dr Ascone also obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from The University of Hamburg where her research focused on paranoid delusions in psychosis.
Profile
Since 2017, Dr. Ascone has been focusing on understanding neuroplastic changes and adaptation in response to different interventions, treatments, and the environment. Currently, she is a junior research group leader at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, focusing on the effects of urban landscape on the human mind and brain, including psychopathology, cognition, and quality of life, in middle to old age. Dr. Leonie Ascone is a psychologist and researcher at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Hamburg, Germany.

Upon graduating from the University of Indonesia with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in adult clinical psychology, Dr. Jaya earned his doctorate at Universität Hamburg in Germany. Upon his return to Indonesia in 2017, Dr. Jaya accepted an offer as a lecturer at his alma mater, the esteemed University of Indonesia.
Inspired by the standards of psychological care witnessed during his time abroad, Dr. Jaya made a commitment to himself to share the knowledge he had accumulated abroad to help his fellow citizens. This commitment that came to fruition when he founded the Indonesian Psychological Healthcare Center (IndoPsyCare) in 2018. Today, Dr. Jaya continues to strive to make evidence-based psychological care available in Indonesia.

Having always been passionate about helping others, Steffi took on several social and community development projects whilst working toward her bachelor’s degree at the University of Indonesia. Following her graduation, Steffi Hartanto worked as a Socio Behavioural Researcher at a Jakarta-based strategic consultancy agency.
In her effort to provide evidence-based psychological healthcare and make it more accessible to every Indonesian, Steffi co-founded Indonesian Psychological Healthcare Center (IndoPsyCare) in 2018. At the current time, Steffi is also working toward her master's in clinical psychology at the Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya.

Dr. Jaya's research interests lie in the study of the aetiology and mechanisms underlying psychosis. At the current time, Dr. Jaya is investigating how psychosis presents across time and cultures. Dr. Jaya firmly believes that in the absence of a coherent understanding and operationalization of this heterogeneous construct, it will remain difficult to understand the reasons behind its presentation.
To date, Dr. Jaya's work has been published in leading journals in this field. These include the Schizophrenia Bulletin, Schizophrenia Research, and Psychological Medicine. Furthermore, at the current time, Dr. Jaya is also an active reviewer of these journals.

Astrid has experience treating Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Astrid is interested in doing research on sexual behaviors. Her clinical interest is in the treatment of depression, OCD, relationship issues, and borderline personality disorder.
