Our Story
Evidence-based and scientifically sourced psychological treatments have historically been difficult to access in Indonesia, regardless of one’s social standing. Consequently, many are left struggling to cope with various debilitating, yet treatable, mental health issues. It is this stark reality that motivated our founders, Dr. Edo S. Jaya and Steffi Hartanto, to intervene and implement change here in Indonesia in 2018 with the establishment of IndoPsyCare.
Given the variety and specificity of psychiatric diagnoses and outcomes, our founders firmly believe that clinicians must also act as scientists. In order to provide the best possible care, our clinicians are trained to both critically appraise existing literature and actively contribute to the growing body of knowledge regarding psychological treatments.
