On the 10th-12th of October of 2022, the International Congress on Borderline Personality Disorder and Allied Disorders hosted a meeting where researchers, clinicians, and members of various healthcare systems across the globe presented their research findings.
Patients and relatives were also welcome to share their personal experiences. We are elated to share that our clinician-scientists were selected to present their research at this year’s event: “Change for a Better Future: Perspectives Beyond Symptoms”.
First, we would like to congratulate our founder and clinician-scientist, Dr. Edo S. Jaya, who presented A Case Study of Two Individuals with Narcissistic Personality Disorder Benefiting from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with a Self-Esteem Regulation Module.
Secondly, we would like to congratulate Eric Sucitra, M.Psi., Psikolog, who presented Comments on DBT from Four Patients with BPD from Indonesia who has Participated for at Least Six Months.
Furthermore, we would like to congratulate Bianca Sutjiono, M.Psi., Psikolog, who presented The Feasibility of Dialectical Behavior Therapy via Teleconsultation in Indonesia: A Case Series.
Moreover, we congratulate Benita Koesmarsono, M.Psi., Psikolog, who presented A Thematic Qualitative Analysis of Indonesian Patients’ Reaction Upon Receiving a Borderline Personality Disorder Diagnosis.
Finally, we would like to congratulate Shafira Fawzia Ahmad, M.Psi., Psikolog, who presented The Perceived Parental Rearing Style from Individuals who are Diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder: A Qualitative Exploration. Going forward, the IndoPsyCare team aims to continue participating in international scholarly discourse.
